Types of Coffees
Short Espresso: A single espresso consisting of 10 – 14g coffee and 30ml water.
Double Espresso: 16 – 22g coffee and 50ml water.
Long Black: A single/double espresso topped up with hot water to 140 - 200ml.
Americano: A single/double espresso topped up with hot water to 250 - 330ml.
Flat White: A short black topped with creamy steamed milk. Size approx 190ml. Served as a double shot.
Cappuccino: A short black topped with frothed milk. Size approx 190ml. Served as a double shot.
Latte: A large cup with a double short black and plenty of steamed flat milk. Size 220 – 330ml.
Hot Chocolate: 2 – 3 heaped teaspoons drinking choc mixed with hot water and steamed milk or mixed directly with steamed milk. Size varies.
Macchiato: A smaller version of the cappuccino. A single or double shot of espresso with a dollop of foamy milk. Size 100ml.
Moccachino: Hot chocolate with a kick! Espresso shot (single) , 2 – 3x tea spoons chocolate stirred into espresso base and then finished off with steam milk with some froth.
